Is this workshop right for me?
Scratch is a fun and free program that is accessible to all ages. It can be taught to both kids, teens, and adults, but is commonly used to teach coding coding to youth. It's also great for kids to learn with their parents! If you're interested in learning the basics of computer coding logic, you're in the right place, no experience required!
Do I need to install anything?
Nope, Scratch is web-based and only needs your web browser to use. The only thing you may want to do in advance is make an account on Scratch's website prior to the workshop, but that isn't necessary as you can use the wbesite as a Guest without saving. You can access Scratch at https://scratch.mit.edu
